Lina's - Taco Chili (With Pic)
Alright MFPeepers, here is another one that is probably not very original, but whatever. I make it. I love it. I eat the hell out of it. And if you want, so can you!
But before I post this really difficult recipe, let me just say that I am aware of "things out of a can aren't that great" and "this sounds like it has a lot of sodium" stuff. The calories aren't too bad. It's delicious. And, I make it every once in a while when i'm in the mood. It's better than eating something with no veggies that is fried (mmmmm fries) k? Thanks!
This is so hard, so just prepare yourself because it's worth it.
Taco Chili
1 pound 93/7% ground beef
1 Packet Taco Seasoning
1 Can Black Beans rinsed and drained (not shown in picture because I was out of black beans, but I normally add this)
1 Can Ranch Style Beans, with liquids
1 Can Yellow Corn, with liquids
1 Can Rotel with Lime
1/2 Jar On the Border Mild Salsa (You can use any salsa brand, but I highly recommend the OTB one because it's really good)
1 Packet Hidden Valley Powdered Ranch
Directions:
Brown beef in pot, add seasoning. Add all the other ingredients and bring to boil. Simmer for 30 minutes. Eat and enjoy! It is SO good!
Not the best picture, but I was balancing a baby on one hand, a bowl in the other, and trying to take a picture at the same time.
