What is everyone planning on having for the Super Bowl? Will you make it a cheat? I'm tired of the usual veggies & dip... I'm leaning towards stuffed mushrooms & jalapenos... or maybe a stadium made out of sandwiches & junk food...

Thanks!

    Oh my goodness...look at that!

Yes, I will be cheating. We're making a sausage & cheese crockpot dip. Husband is grilling burgers.

We are having wings on the menu.

I will be making myself a salad while everyone else eats the wings. I just am not a big wing fan.

Hopefully we'll be surving the Patriots the Super Bowl trophy !!! ** Go Pats **.. Ok, enough sports talk.. Since i'm the type of person who can take a small nibble and turn it into the whole enitre fridge, i'll be sticking with my healthy meals.. My usual is a Lean Cuisine, SmartOnes, or something that I know is healthy. I don't like to cheat, not even for an event such as this. I feel awful when I do diet cheat, and then after I really think about it, I ask myself, was that food really worth it ?, and did it even taste so much better than what I eat on a daily basis ? After that I usually don't even think about splurging on foods that aren't Diet friendly.
Hopefully, for the one's who are alot braver than I am, I wish you all luck ! Enjoy what you eat, and hopefully it don't throw your diet off :) Good luck to all !

Fall Veggie Chili, Honey BBQ/Buffalo Chicken Wings, Onion Rings, Guacamole, Ranch Dip, Chips, Veggies, Cheese, Crackers

^ Most of all that home-made so I can control the ingredients and cooking methods. ~_^

    I am making white chili......YUM!

    Plus this:

    Skinny Buffalo Chicken Dip

All the flavor of buffalo wings without messy hands! Perfect for your Superbowl Party. I lightened this using
low fat and fat free ingredients. Adjust the heat to your liking and serve this with celery, chips or crackers.

    Lighter Buffalo Chicken Dip

    Ro-Tel Queso Dip:
1 block 2% Velveeta, cut into cubes
1 can Ro-Tel diced tomatoes with chilis, undrained
(1 small can of diced green chilis if you want an extra kick)

    -Mix, heat and serve!

I serve with the multi-grain Tostitos Scoops (I like the way those taste more than the regular)
It often has spicy ground sausage mixed in as well, but I don't put it in.
