  • Good Job !!!
I am type 2, and was on 4 pills a day about 5 months ago. Since I've lost around 50 lbs. and I'm totally off pills, bood pressure dropped, cholesterol has dropped and I don't need the CPAP machine anymore. It's fantastic what happens when your weight drops! I have more energy and I'll need all of it to reach my goal, which is 30 more pounds. This site is WONDERFUL !

    Thanks All :flowerforyou:

I shall certainly be continuing my new lifestyle.

Next goal is to lose another 5lb for my trip to Florida, leaving 7th March.

pam0206, I take 40 units (was 80) of Lantus (long acting Insulin) once a day and 4 units of Apidra before evening meal, plus tablet medication for Diabetes, High Cholesterol and High Blood pressure (all of which are now under review by my GP)
