Reaching my goal...

Hello! I'm new to MFP and I'm hoping it will help me reach my goal. I'm 5' 2" and I started at about 150lbs. I lost 19 on my own through diet and exercise so now I'm at 131. My goal weight is 120/125 so I'm almost there but I've been kind of stuck at 131 for a while, the last 5-10lbs really are the hardest... I'm having a little trouble staying motivated and I know that I'm also a stress/emotional eater. I'm going to be losing my job pretty soon (we were bought out last year so they've been consolidating departments and cutting jobs) they're just working out my end date. So... I'm really trying not to let it be an excuse to eat or to overeat and I'm trying to stay motivated and keep exercising. The site has me eating about 1200 calories daily unless I earn more through exercise. I've only registered and started using this site the end of last week, but I'm finding that I've been kind of hungry. I'm a vegan and I eat healthy and make sure I have enough protein and the site counts the protein as well. But I worried I might not be doing something right because by the time I get home at night I'm so famished and don't have that many calories left, so between the overly hungry and the lack of calories left I overeat (not good). I know that I will sort it out and I CAN reach my goal and I WILL keep the weight off, I just have to work at it and not get frustrated. If anyone has any words of wisdom or just a kind word, that would be really nice and I'd appreciate it. Thank you for reading :)
