Weight Loss is Coming Along

Hey all, first time posting. I've always gone through spurts of laziness or simply getting comfortable in a relationship and letting myself go, causing my weight to vary. I got out of a self-destructive relationship end of last summer. When I met her in 2006 I was at 180 lbs, ran every day, swam every day, and competed in collegiate athletics. By last summer I was 271lbs. I'd never been that heavy before and I was devastated to be at that weight. So, around November of last year I finally decided i'd had enough and I started back up my old routines to lose weight. I eat a grilled chicken sandwich from Chick Fil'A with a fruit cup every day and I have a piece of grilled chicken for dinner, and I got back into running which is only just now starting to feel good again. I'm finally back into the 220's as of today, 228 to be exact. My goal is to get back to 180 where I was over 5 years ago, but it's been several years since I'd even seen the 220's so I'm very happy today. Some of my old clothes are starting to fit, running is starting to be enjoyable again, I bought a new pair of running shoes this past weekend and it's only helped me get more excited about running faster and longer. This app has been a big help for me keeping myself accountable for exercise and diet. The first few weeks into dieting were certainly the hardest, I never realized how powerful the cravings for unhealthy food were. Once I powered through those weeks and started to see results the decision to eat healthy was so much easier. I've really enjoyed browsing these boards and seeing the success stories, hope to post in the not too distant future about achieving my end goal!
Here's a pic from the summer of '06 that I'm working hard to get back to

and here's a pic from spring of last year:

I don't have any photos of me at my current weight but I'll feel more comfortable doing that when I get around the 205-210 range
