2lbs in 4 weeks....frustrated!

Is anyone else becoming frustrated with not seeing hte number go down on the scale?? I have been at this for exactly 30 days, today is my last day for the Jillia Michaels 30 day shred, I eat a 1200 calorie clean diet. Water water water. Is this normal??

  • I started the 30 day shred 7 days ago. I have not lost any weight yet, but I lost 3 inches on my stomach and 1 inch on my waste in just a week! Did you measure yourself? I know the frustration of not losing the weight, but if your losing inches then you're doing it right. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat. You may be losing the fat, but gaining muscle.
  • The closer you are to a healthy weight range, the more difficult it is to lose. You should be aiming for .5 lb a week so you're right where you should be.

    I know it's frustrating. My scale hasn't moved in 2 weeks. But, the tape measure makes a difference. I've lost like 2 inches off my waist. That's what keeps me going.
