Question About Smoothies

So everyone is telling to to have smoothies after a workout. The one I just had was 229 calories, 23 grams of protein, and 25 grams of sugar ((assuming from the strawberry and banana put in it)) with 28 grams of carbs. Is this good or bad?

It was 24 oz and sooo yummy! I don't understand how this is better than the 100 calorie 20 grams of protein canned tuna and spinach I would have consumed ((Still may later on as a snack)) though...

Since I want to consume more protein and less sugar and carbs, my post workout shakes only contain unsweetened almond milk, protein powder(no sugar 1g carbs) peanut butter and maybe some spinach. If you're not concerned with carbs or sugar then it's fine. I know that a lot of people add fruit to their smoothies. I think the protein intake of your smoothie is good but the sugar and carbs are high, imo. I'd go for the tuna and spinach if it were a choice between that and the smoothie. But again, that's me.
