I don't like to brag, but...

I don't like to brag, so I don't tell people I know this. But I've lost about 22 pounds, and I think with the last five pounds it's really starting to show. For the first time I'm looking in the mirror and feeling like I'm the shape of a person. So...I just wanted to tell somebody!

Does anyone else not like to brag?

I'm the same way. I've lost about 15 since my top weight and it's a little uncomfortable to tell people I know. I think it's partially because I don't want people to know that I'm trying to change because that would imply that I'm the stereotypical insecure-about-my-body woman. I don't want to be seen as that person who's always dieting or watching what I eat or whatever.

But I'm proud of it! And it's nice when I see someone and they say "you've been looking really good" or when I get complimented on a piece of clothing that I fit back into.
