old clothes too big

I have a donation truck for the blind coming on thursday. I am not sure I should get rid of my XL shirts and size 14 jeans. what it I need them again one day (shudder) ?! I'm somewhat of a pack rat. I think I need to let the big clothes go into the donation pile. It will free up space in my closet. What do you guys do with the old clothed that are too big to wear anymore ?

A few nicer pieces I have gotten altered. Everything else I pass on to friends or relatives, or donate to Goodwill.

I would keep one pair of your favorites, then donate the rest! Or maybe send them my way since I'm getting into size 14s?! lol
