Ground Turkey and Rice Bowl

INGREDIENTS:
I lb. ground turkey
1 chopped onion
1/2 cup green onion
1 chopped red pepper (or whichever colour you have on hand!!)
1 chopped fresh jalapeno (seeds removed for less spiciness)
1 can sliced mushrooms (I chopped these up small, it's up to you!)
2 1/4 cups minute brown rice
2 cans reduced sodium chicken broth
3/4 cup pizza sauce
1/2 jar salsa
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. red chili flakes
hot sauce to taste
salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Fry turkey until just cooked, add diced veggies and mushrooms and cook until veggies are soft and the turkey is browned. Season with salt, pepper, oregano and chili flakes.
In a large pot, bring chicken broth, pizza sauce, and salsa to a boil. Remove from heat, add rice and stir... immediately add turkey and veggies.
Cover and let stand for approx. 5 minutes.
Easy as pie!! Just serve and enjoy..
