too much fiber

lately I've been getting a LOT of fiber in my diet, sometimes up to twice as much as MFP tells me I should have.
and I swear it is messing with my digestion.....has anyone else experienced this?

    As long as you don't increase it too quickly, and as long as you get enough water, loads of fiber is great for you. Maybe back off a bit, increase your water, and gradually increase it again. My goal is 30-35 grams a day. I used to do that all the time, and want to get back to it.

    How is it messing with your digestion? It should help move things along, but if you increase it too quickly and your body isn't used to it, or if you are not getting enough water to keep it moving, it can constipate you. If you are increasing quickly, it can also give you gas issues for awhile.
