Starting a New Routine and would love to learn from others..

Hi, I am a happily married 36 year old stay at home momma of two boys, 12 and 3.....kind of stuck in the house during the day...and I need to lose about 40 pounds....would love to do it by the summer if possible, and keep it off, so I know some of my bad habits will have to change... I just started doing the 17 day diet thing and I attempted to do the 30 day shred tonight!! Comical to say the least....The problem is I have had two kids and could never really figure out kegels...if you catch my drift, sooooooo I had to stop or else I was going to start (keep) peeing my pants...literally and wouldnt be able to stop.....which leads me to my next issue....Does anyone have any fun/tricky suggestions for getting downthe water...I am at 3-4 16oz bottles and cant seem to get past that....I also drink a cup of hot water with lemon in the am and 4 mugs of hot green tea...so, to me, someone who rarely drinks anything...that is an astronomical amount of liquid...hence the pants peeeing!!!

Also...I was wondering about the Stevia/Truvia thing...is that stuff okay for you, unlike fake chemically sugar and how many packets could you actually have in a day???!!! I have been using them in my tea and greek yogurt and my homemade chocolate dipping/drizzling sauce..oh and my marinara( from scratch).pms kicks my but with the sweet tooth thing, and its odd, because normally, I have very little craving for sweets...but this was the week and I just started my new "routine" a week prior to this past friday...
