I just got a hiking pack that is also a child carrier. We went for a 2 mile walk today, my son weighs 30 lbs. We walked on a walking path/track that is fairly flat. Would this still be considered hiking? I feel hiking should be up and down hills, more than just walking. How do I calculate for the added 30lbs? It was definitely a little more difficult than pushing the stroller.

I'm sure I've seen a "walking, carrying x weight" in people's diary.
Scan down the exercise list and you'll probably find it.
That should definitley earn you extra cals!0 -
I looked up walking and only found 15 lb child/baby. Guess I could do that, at least get some credit.0
