I am coming upon my 1 year anniversary of quitting smoking.
I want to do something special to celebrate this victory, but haven't a clue.
Any ex-smokers out there do anything special upon reaching this milestone?

Go for a long run with those new, improved lungs! And then have a glass of wine if you drink. Congrats on quitting. My dad just quit a month ago after 50 years of smoking. I'm very proud of him.0

Congratulations on your one year anniversary, the date I stopped smoking, 7/7/2007 goes by unnoticed, but not a day goes by that I don't appreciate the ability to breathe without coughing and without pain.0

The first few months were really tough, then it got easier every day thereafter.
It is truly amazing how much better you feel after you've quit a few months.
I am thinking of actually taking that day off from work and going out somewhere.
Enjoy the day, breath in the fresh air and enjoy a relaxing stress free day....0
