I love Reeces peanut butter cups....i could eat them everyday but i don't eat candy anymore. Im always looking for new ideas on how to make my protein shakes taste better, I use the APEX chocolate lite powder and mix it with water. I discovered powdered peanut butter when i was getting some supplements called PB2. I was like what the hell its only $5. This stuff is a great product. http://www.bellplantation.com/

2 Tblsp has 45 calories 1.5g of fat 94 mg of sodium 1g of sugar 5 grams of protein

Here is my new shake

1 Heaping scoop of Apex Chocolate Lite Mix
2 Tblsp of PB2 powdered penut butter
8-12 oz of water with ice.
Mix it in my hand mixer and its wonderful. It is a total of 235 calories and 3g of sugar and 25g of protein and the best part:
Taste like a Reeces Peanut Butter Cup

You can get PB2 cheaper than the bellplantation web site (who makes PB2) on a website called netrition.com

    Nice recipe...thanks!

Yummmmmmmmyyyyyy have you read my diary???? I'm part owner in Reeses!!! I don't know why but every since I started eating better I crave Reeses and just plain peanut butter...hmmmm so odd. I eat a Reeses almost everyday. That is 110 calories not to mention the sugar!!! I just got rid of my last pack yesterday. I gave them to my kids. I can not keep them in the house anymore.

I use to have two it seemed like every day. I would get a dr. pepper and a reeses at the gas station.....I got the wrong supplements at my nutrition store so i'm going to stock up on a few more cans. I cant wait till my next protein shake. Think about it, its just the bi-product of the process to make peanut oil. Great Invention.
  • Thanks for the post! I've been wanting to try it, but haven't yet!

I will definitely be trying this. I LOVE PB2! If they ever stopped making it I don't know what I would do. It saves you so many calories!! I get it close to home, so don't have to order it online and pay for shipping and wait for it, which also makes me happy. Thanks for the recipe.

I actually found it in the itty bitty organic section at HyVee grocery store here! It was just over $4 too. I get the chocolate kind and it's yummy!
