Twisted Pelvis Recovery?

Hi there,
I'm in the process of being treated for a twisted pelvis. Not sure what caused it, not sure how long it's been that way but it's been realigned & the recovery has been painful at times.
Has anyone else had this & what has your experience been like?
How long did it take to feel 'normal' again?
Did you do any exercises that helped?
How long did it take before you resumed exercise?
I'm considering yoga & am going to talk to my chiropractor next time I see her, I just wanted to hear others experiences

I'm not sure if it's the same as what you're going through, but I was thrown from a horse a few years ago and severely rotated my pelvis forward and up. When it happened, I actually thought I had broken it the pain was so severe. I was treated by a chiropractic, the recovery was painful and long, and unfortunately 4 years later I still have problems with my left hip and get very tight through my pelvis. I take anti-inflammatories when it gets bad and see my chiropractor as needed, but unfortunately it seems to be an ongoing problem.
ETA: It took a couple months to be able to exercise normally again. Ellipticals weren't too bad, but running was out of the question. I try to stretch a lot and keep my hips lose, and stay away from exercises that cause pain: running and stair steppers are a no go for me.0 -
It sounds similar, my pelvis was higher on the left side, making my right leg shorter. I don't know how long it was like that but now I'm recovering from it my right leg & foot are very sore from being used properly now.
My chiropractor tells me it's quite common but I can't find a lot of info about recovery. I'd love to get back into exercising, it's been 3 weeks since I could do anything more physical than walking. I had a go at doing 20 minutes of zumba the other day, I took it easy but got too sore afterwards so I'm not doing it again in a hurry!0
