THE SCALE: To buy, or NOT to buy?! THAT is the question!

So, let me start by saying that I had an eating disorder in my teens that has lead to a life-long battle with weight. I have been working on this now for the better part of a year and a half. I usually weigh in about once a month at the gym, but I have been forgetting lately. I know I need to weigh in at least weekly to stay on track, but I am afraid if I own a scale I will revert to my old obsessive, weighing in twice a day self...any tips on how to avoid this?

How often SHOULD I weigh in? Weekly? Bi-Weekly? Every couple days?

Input appreciated...Thanks!

If you're worried, I would stick to only weighing in 1x a month so normal fluctuation doesn't throw you off. Tape yourself every 2-3 weeks & chart it... just don't advise it around "that" time of the month. Keep up the good work! :-)
