New to my fitness pal! :)

I honestly cannot remember a time when I haven't been over weight, but two years ago when my parents split up and my mom and I had to move away from all our friends is when I really started to pack on the pounds. In November last year, after a series of failures, I decided to do some research into veganism. Partially for my health but more for animal and environmental welfare, since at that point I had already deemed myself a lost cause. I started on November 11th, 2011, thinking maybe that would be a lucky day. It was very difficult at first, I stuck to it it for about two weeks before decided to start eating dairy and eggs again. I did that for about a month and lost about 10 lbs, but after watching the documentary Earthlings I realized that I couldn't continue to consume animal products anymore. Now I've lost 32 lbs and I haven't felt this good in a really really long time. I still have a long way to go, but hopefully I'll make it down to my goal weight.
