Pedometers???

I want to get a pedometer since I go walking every evening for about 45 minutes. Ive been looking online but everything I find is either really expensive or the reviews say they are crap and dont work. If you use a pedometer what kind is it and are you happy with its performance? I need something accurate that doesnt cost an arm and a leg.
