Low Carb Days and Energy

I am trying to have a few low carb days then a high carb day (pizza! ) and then a low cab day, then a couple of moderate carb days and then start the cycle all over again. This is my second low carb day and I am just plain tired! For those of you that are eating low carbs (15% of your calories) do you find that you just seem to have a lack of energy?
What do you do for a quick pick me up that won't kill the low carb benefit?

Wow, that's really low. You're tired because your kidneys are working overtime trying to digest the extra protein.

You could lose weight this way but it's mostly water from your body trying to flush out those keytones.
