How important is it to stay within goal for my sugars?

I always go waayyyy over in my sugars. But this is mainly due to the large amount of fruits and veges I eat when I am following my diet. If I'm on point with my eating, I eat don't eat any sweets really at all. Maybe a fiber one brownie or a WW dessert to satisfy the craving, but at least 3/4 of my sugars come from some sort of fruit or vegetable.
So can I just disregard this column on my daily journal? Or will it stop me from losing weight?
