Which meal is it best to use a protein drink for? I'm thinking of starting them for lunch, but I'm still not 100% certain on the benefits. Anyone information of protein drinks is welcomed!

I use them as follows
Mid morning between breakfast and lunch (whey powder in my coffee)
Mid afternoon between lunch and workout (whey powder in unsweet almond milk with an orange)
Post workout before supper. (whey powder with almond milk or a protein bar)0 -
Protein takes more work to process to blood glucose than carbs or fats, thus is somewhat mildly thermogenic.
It is a critical building block in lean tissue so it significantly aids in muscle recovery following exercise. The last thing you want to accomplish in weight loss is lose significant muscle tissue resulting in a slower metabolism and compounding the problems.
Due to the above, people in a caloric deficit should increase their protein intake and it should make up the bulk of their exercise calories to aid in recovery, generally speaking.0
