Sugar withdrawal???

I've been here for a few months already, and I've been doing well, but I just started to lower my sugar intake (even though I was within my calories before). The problem is, I'm not getting cranky like people usually do, I'm getting depressed. Like, really, really depressed. I feel like crying and generally sad. I'm in this for the long haul, but I'm scared because I suffer from depression, and I can't afford to be depressed over something like lack of sugar (even though it's still more sugar than what I'm supposed to eat according to MFP). Is this temporary? Should I be worried?

Could be temporary, could be hypoglycemia. This is really something you should see your doctor about, especially if you already have a history of depression.0

I agree. See a doctor because that doesn't sound like something you should deal with from random strangers on myfitnesspal, especially if you are experiencing depression.
Good luck.0
