Does MFP "learn" how many METs a workout is?

So I mix up my routine and do a different type of cardio every day. I couldn't find cardio dancing in mfp but I do it many times a week. If you're wondering how, I use Xbox Kinect and play dance central or black eyed peas.
Any way, I couldn't find it as an option so I put it in manually, based on what my hr monitor said. Now, every time I do this activity and put the time in (always a different amount of time) mfp always matches or is very close to what my hrm says.
Did MFP learn how many METs that exercise is based off of what I told it I burned?
