Halfway to Paradise

Well, halfway to target but it will be paradise for me LOL
I honestly never thought I'd be able to maintain a consistent weight loss, it's taken me over a year to get this far, but for the first time ever I'm now on the downward slope, and it feels so good!
Still detest the gym, but love the pool, and have even learnt to enjoy walking again!
88 down, 88 to go - this is my year!

88lbs is Amazing! I can't wait until I reach the halfway point. You must feel so healthy!
Great that you've found an exercise you enjoy too, that will make lots of difference to the second half of your journey.
Here's to the next 88...0 -
Congratulations! Swimming is such a great way to exercise. Good luck on the rest of your journey and thanks for the inspiration today. :happy:0

Thankyou - it's been a long journey but I have had some fantastic support from family and friends.
I just hope that when the time comes maintenance will be easy to control0 -
I enjoy swimming the most as well! The resistance feels awesome! The only thing I fret about it ruining my hair with all the chlorine..I bought a swimming cap but there is just no way to not feel nerdy & very unsexy in those lol0

I can't stand swim caps either, but I put leave in conditioner on my hair before i swim - might look as though my hair wants a good wash but at least I know I'm protecting it, especially as it's no longer its natural colour :blushing: !0 -
Adding baking soda to your shampoo just before putting it into your hair will help too. Or putting tomato paste in your hair and leave it on for 30 min them rinse.
And congrats on the hard work!!!!! You are a true inspiration!!!0
