I make a good london broil (marinated in lemon juice and seasonings) and pair it with Cooking Light goat cheese au gratin potatoes. Those are yummy and don't taste low cal at all. I was nervous (so was hubby) about the goat cheese part but it really is good. He also likes the shredded chicken tacos that I make that someone here posted the recipe for. I usually pair that with homemade spanish rice. Traditional steak and potatoes is low cal if you watch the portions, stick with a 4 oz piece of lean steak like a filet, and not too much butter or sour cream on your baked potato. My hubby likes when I make Spaghetti (again, watch portions) and throw some cut up italian sausage in there for him. If you want the sausage too, Jennie-O makes italian turkey sausage.

One day my DH came busting thru the front door. He was mad as all get out. I couldnt figure out WTH was wrong with him, but continued to cook dinner.

I finally asked him what was eating him tonight...................he YELLED

    I NEED MEEEEEAT!!

I'd point him to the dog bowl, that's the only meat in my house! lol

My boyfriend gets tired of the vegetarian cuisine from time to time, so I pretend I don't notice those BW3 takeout boxes in his car.

Oh he would just DIE if I took meat out alltogehter. As a matter of fact so would I!
That is one really good thing, he doesnt do the fast food thing anymore. I cook him burgers with 97% lean meat, wooster sauce and grilled onions. He can eat the junk food anymore!!
