polar transmitter

Does anyone know if you can purchase just a wearlink transmitter at any brick and mortar stores, or will I need to order that component online? Mine needs to be sent off for repair, and I really don't want to be without my HRM for the weeks that it will be gone. I am not thrilled about having to buy a new one, but a backup won't be bad to have. I am realizing how addicted I am to my HRM.
