well I splurged a couple of weeks ago and got the HRM that was mentioned in a post on sale--still trying to figure it out!! AND a Nordic Track treadmill.
So NOW I am walking 4 miles outdoors in am before work---for the social interaction---and then am doing this workout at night with warmup /cooldown of (each unit is one minute)
3/3.5/ 4/4.5/ 5/ 5/4.5 /4/ 4.5/ 5/ 5/4.5/ 4/ 4.5/ 5/ 5/4.5/ 4/ 4.5/ 5/ 5/4.5/ 4/ 4.5/ 5/ 5/4.5 / 4 /3.5 / 3
It is 30 hard minutes. Weight 226. My HRM says I get up to 136 for heart rate. When I punched in all my data to Nordic track it says I am burning 500 calories!--it has HRM with it on the hand grip! I punch in each exercise indiviually into MFP but get 320 caloresi ---but of course I realize that the sum is greater than the parts as my HR is up the whole time. HRM says 476 calories.
What do ya think--- just give myself 450???
