I like my Herbalife 24 line smoothies I make on my work out daysI just add a couple tablespoons of oatmeal and some fruit with a little cinnamon. Then on other days it just depends on what mood I am in and what type of Herbalife smoothie I use.

I like a morning shake of mango, pineapple, and strawberry mixed fruit added to 1/2 to 1 cup of homemade kefir and a half a scoop of vanilla whey protein. It is really tasty, filling and packed full of naturally occuring probiotics.

I like this one. It is similar to others I have seen on this post.
    1 cup 1% milk
    1/2 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
    1 medium banana
    1 scoop whey
1/2 cup multigrain or bran flakes
and sometimes I add strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries.

Blend it until smooth. Tastes great and keeps me full for hours.

All the ideas with fruit are great.

Since you are not too into protein shakes my suggestion is to add 6 - 8 oz of non fat plain greek yogurt to whatever fruit your choose because a good source of protein is important.

I have a chobani non fat plain greek yogurt pretty much every day and for 6oz, it's like 18 grams of protein...that's awesome for yogurt.

I've heard adding oatmeal to this exact recipe gives it a little bit more thickness and is extremely healthy! YUM!

    1 orange
    2 strawberries
    4 baby carrotts

mine is also a protein shake but it works great as a breakfast and keeps you full a long time! it also gives you a daily serving of a very important healthy oil!

    1/4 cup water
    1 cup vanilla soy milk
    1 scoop vanilla protein powder
    2/3 cup frozen strawberries
    1 banana

    Blend until smooth!!!

This was the one I was quoting...adding oatmeal to it makes it even more delicious!
This will make close to 32 oz, but my wife and I split it so that's why we make so much. Pretty simple.

    2 Cups strawberries
    1 Cup blueberries
2 Cups Slik Pure Almond Milk

I used to add granola to it, which is also really good, but have stopped doing so because I'm trying to cut calories a little more.

Green smoothies are delicious and super healthy for you! I usually fill my blender 1/2 to 3/4 full with spinach and about a cup of water and blend that down to a liquid FIRST (before adding in anything else). Then add whatever fruit/veggie combo you want. Adding frozen produce will give you that nice cold shake without having to add ice (which would water it down if you didn't drink it all right away).

If you're looking for something more/better than just a protein shake (that does NOT taste like a protein shake and is delicious) ViSalus makes a yummy meal replacement shake and offers different sized kits to meet your current goal (ie: maintenance or weight loss). Check out www.mandimorgan.myvi.net for more info :)

Any health food store.... Costco and BJ's also carry it...... look for Whey Protein. Heck, a really big grocery store might have it, as well as a nice big pharmacy.

What am I doing wrong? All this talk about protein shakes...I know how good they are for you but I find that I'm over in my protein almost every day just from normal meals. Where do you find room in the protein allowance for these shakes?
