Calorie Goal

So yesterday I barley changed my eating habits and I was still under my calorie goal? The only thing I'm doing different is exercising 45 min a day and no more soda. I'm confused why I'm this overweight if what I usually eat is considered under my calorie goal. Some advice please.

45 min per day of exercise can equal many hundreds of calories, depending on the exercise. Combined with "no more soda", that could account for 500-1000 calories less per day than you were consuming. That's 1-2 lbs per week.
Weight can creep up very slowly. Imagine if you gained 1 lb per week - barely noticeable in the short term, but 50+ lbs gained in a year.
I suspect that you have been consuming well over your ideal intake for quite a while.0 -
True...I see the light at the end of the tunnel.0

I know there are a lot of different thoughts on this but what has worked for me is to not eat the extra calories I get from exercising.0
