New to this weight loss thing.

Hi my name is Trista. I have had a MFP for a while now but decided over the holidays I put on way too much weight. I need to lose 20lbs. before summer. Living where there is a beach definately makes you weight conscious. I have started cutting back on the caleries and drinking more water. I am also going to start walking after work with a friend a couple times a week. Would like friends on here to help motivate me to drop this weight. I've never been good at weight loss because I have never been over weight before. I have always been very active but since I started working a sedentary job I have been slowly putting the lbs. Would love any ideas or help to make this easier. Thanks!!!
