Overload next session?

I missed a day of working out. I usually workout Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sat. I missed Wed because I was sick. When I go back to the gym on Friday do I just do my regular workout or do you think it is better to workout longer (like use the elliptical longer or do the circuit training twice for ex) to make up for the missed day. Opinions? Thanks!

Any chance you can fit in a light work out on Sunday?0

I think it depends on how you feel. I wouldnt necessarily double up, but if you have the stamina tomorrow to push harder and workout a lil more, then go for it. Also, like above poster, maybe a mini workout on Sunday, not your normal intensity but a little something to make up for the missed.
My normal Saturday fitness class is canceled this week, so i am going to attempt a workout on my own on Sunday.0 -
if i have to miss, i just add an extra day, and go on my usual day off. i think missing one day probably won't hurt over the long-haul. but if you feel you want to go longer and you have the time, go for it!0
