Yep. Haven't made it out for quite a few years though. Isolated work environment and now kids. I have made it to the indoor gyms a few times and want to get in the habit of going weekly over the next 6 months.
  • I like rock WALL climbing...indoors...with a soft blue squishy mat to fall on...I'm a wimp.

I am lucky to live in a place with a lot of indoor climbing options. I've got to meet some real outdoors climbers around here so I can get into it like a real person! Is it much different?

I used to be a competitive climber.... I retired due to injury :( I'm lucky enough to be surrounded by mountains, so I climb outdoors in the summer and indoors in the rainy rainy winter. I love it!

Outdoor is way different! The way the rock feels, the different types of rocks, figuring out where you should put your hands. My very first climb was outdoor. My brother is a technical climber, and got me starter. I ONLY climb indoors to keep in shape during the winter. I live in fargo :( No outdoor climbs. So, we do day trips to climb in the summer and fall. :)
