Hey All So I have tried to look for some creative ways to add some flavor to my diet .............
I found that Avacado is wonderful for this and incorporated it into my diet (and it may not be for everyone)
I have found the benefits of Avacado are:
Prostate Cancer Prevention - Oral Cancer Defense - Breast Cancer Potection - Eye Health - Lower Cholesterol - Stroke Prevention - Heart Health - Better Nutrient Absorption - Glutathione Source - Vitamin E Powerhouse
So, Try these two recipes on for size:
Bagle ala Avacoda
1 - 100% Whole Wheat Bagle (220 cal) or 2 Mini Whole Wheat Bagels
1/2 - Avacado (50 cal)
1 oz. Goat Cheese (76 cal)
2- Eggs (185 cal)
Mix avacado with the goat cheese in a bowl
Cook the eggs to your liking (I tried Scarmbled and Over Easy)
put mixture and eggs on a bagle and viola!
Ground Turkey Tacos (Makes 2 Tacos)
2 - Thin Yellow Corn Tortillas (80 cal)
4 oz - Honeysuckle White Turkey 85/15 (240 Cal)
1 oz - Goat Cheese
1/2 Half Avacado
Cook Turkey in a pan using Pam Cooking spray to coat (0 cal for Pam)
Mix Avacado and goat cheese together
Warm Tortilla's inmorcowave or on stove
Sread Avacado Mix on to Tortillas and add ground turkey
You can add Tomatoes, Lettuce or anything else you wouldl like just be sure to count the calories!
Happy Avacadoing
