I don't want to lose muscle. Oviously, I could work on building it, but I'm saying if I don't have much time to work on all that, yet I'm losing weight. Know what I'm saying?

I don't have the facts in front of me so take it with a grain of salt but I've read that having increased protein in your diet will help prevent muscle loss.

Definitely increase your protein. I aim for over 100g per day, and usually end up somewhere around 140ish grams. Losing weight slowly will also help; you don't want to lose more than 2 lbs a week max (though, depending on your current size, level of water retention, etc. that will vary anyway).

You're smart! So many women (in particular) are focused on the scale number and don't care where the loss is coming from.
