Sore Thighs

Hello all,
My bootcamp challenge this week was to do 3 days cardio, 3 days weight lifting (they gave us a circuit). I went hard and did my circuit on Tuesday and my arms are fine. (mostly arms since it's a women's group) Just a little sore, like I have been doing extra stuff.
However, I did sumo squats ( 3 sets of 15 with a 15 lb weight). My thighs have been so sore for the past two days. It's painful to go down stairs and such. I did cardio yesterday to see if it would help and sat in the sauna for a bit. It helped right then and there, but afterwards, I was and I am still in pain. Today, I warmed up, stretched it all out and I did weights again, but skipped the squats because I litteraly cannot do them until this soreness stops.
Do you have any tips or suggestions? I want to continue lifting weights while losing weight, but I can't if I'm going to be this sore in a different area each week.
