Valentine's Day!

So my boyfriend is pretty awful at keeping secrets/surprises, and he's basically "hinted" that we're having a picnic for Valentine's Day. I think it's mega cute and I'm really excited, but I'm worried about eating that day.

I'm in high school and we're probably going right pretty soon after I go home and get ready, so I won't have time to go to the gym that day. I also am probably going to have no idea about the nutritional content of the food he makes. What should I do? Just try to eat small portions and eat mostly healthy foods, try to keep low-cal the rest of the day? I feel like I've been slipping lately and I don't want to have more cheat days than I already have.

He knows you are watching what you eat right? Hopefully he will keep that in mind. Do the best you can and if you do go overboard work out extra hard the next day!

Most picnics will include fruits and veggies, so max out on those and go small portions on any dips.

The big thing is to enjoy your day and the considerate thing your boyfriend is doing for you. If you have to work out a little harder or longer the next day, it's worth it.
