What keeps you motivated?

This week I have been all over the place emotionally.
I’m like 2 pounds away from my goal weight, but I’m having some issues feeling motivated lately.
It’s just that I really miss my old lifestyle in which I never really care what I ate, cause my work as a dancer was more than enough to keep me in shape, cause I kept burning everything I ate.
Now I diet like a maniac, I do weight lifting, and cardio 6 days a week, and boy is it working, I think I never in my life had the arms I have now.
But I do realize there’s a lot of work that has to be done yet, in order to achieve and maintain what I’m striving for. Being a stay at home mom of 3 babies under 4, makes it very stressful at times
I saw myself in a video (from the back lol) and for the first time in like 5 years I look skinny! It made me feel so happy! But then I took a picture of myself in front of the mirror as a “before “ to start a new workout and track progress, I hated the way I look![:( :(](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/frowning.png)
I’m by no means stopping now, I just need some guidance to keep improving, I guess, since my goals have changed, now it’s not just about weight, and I know there will never be a “done” date since maintaining is sometimes harder than getting there.
Have you ever felt frustrated like this before? What keeps you going towards your goals?

I keep a before picture handy with never again written across it. When I need a kick I look at it and remember how far I've come.0

I think about how much better I feel and how much I don't want to develop diabetes like the rest of my siblings. Plus, I have a new goal. This one's wierd, I fully admit. But, I'm 4lbs from being down 40lbs, which is what one bag of wood pellets weighs. I think it'd be a hoot to say I lost a bag of wood pellets!0
