Needing some advice

I started working out Jan 1st using the X-TrainFit At Home videos (think P90X for beginners) and only lost 1 lb. I bought the 30 Day Shred video (which I've done twice and really didn't like) and started the C25K program this week. Is it safe to do the running on Mon, Wed, Fri and the 30 DS on Tues, Thurs, Sat? Or can I do each day twice in one week, ie W1D1 Mon/Tues, W1D2 Wed/Thurs, etc. So far this week I've only done the c25k on Mon, Wed, and tomorrow (Fri) to see how my knees can handle the running....which I'm fine as long as I take some advil after the run. And I've also noticed that I'm craving sweets like crazy! especially on the non-running days. It's getting hard to not go buy some orange danish rolls! Can anyone give some advice on any of my issues? thanks in advance!!
