More Confessions, and a Pledge

Yesterday was a friends birthday, and I didn't plan for it. But instead of just having one or two drinks, I gave up. I have a hard time telling myself that a little bit of failure is not the same thing as a lot of failure - if I go over, I keep going over.
This is my new pledge to myself: When I go out,
I WILL NOT drink two caloric (ie alcoholic) drinks consecutively.
I WILL alternate with diet soda or water.
I WILL NOT use price or caffeine as an excuse for not buying a diet soda between drinks.
I WILL NOT get irritated when my husband asks if I really want another drink.
I WILL remember that one drink is just as fun as two.

Good for you!! Go for the water!! Alcohol is dehydrating and so is soda!0
