My journal is open. I wonder if anyone has had any luck changing meal times like I have so you are eating more often. I struggle with eating all I am supposed to (but Im getting better). My weight loss is set at 1.2 lbs per week and so far I am down almost 5 pounds since Jan 1.

Id be interested in anyones suggestions for what I am doing good bad ugly..etc.

  • Looks good to me. :) I do the same thing and eat small portions because I find sometimes no matter what I do I'm just not hungry for long so I have smaller, frequent meals.

Meal timing gives no advantage to weight loss. Eat according to preference and workout performance.

What has helped me is the eating every 3ish hours. That way I never become "starving" to where I want to shove food in my face. I eat breakfast around 7:30, snack at 10, lunch at 12:30, snack around 2:30-3, dinner at 5:30-6, then sometimes a small snack around 8-9ish.

Every 3 hours for me as well. Breakfast 7:30 snack 10:30/11. Lunch 1:30ish. Snack 4:00/4:30 dinner @ 8:00 (only time we can eat as a family due to daughter practice schedule).

If I start to get hungry between I drink water & chew gum to try to solve that.
