Tasty carbonated beverages get a bad rap in the forum. This thread is dedicated to the ones I love.

What are your favorite tasty, carbonated beverages?

Diet Coke & Diet Dr. Pepper. :love:

Do you call it soda, pop or something else?

I grew up calling it pop, but now I call it soda.

    I don't drink it often, but when I do, I call it pop.

    Mountain Dew (DO the DEW) Coke and root beer. I loved Surge growing up but they took it off the market. And strangley enough we call all froms of soda coke. LOL

    I don't really drink the stuff.... Used to be a Dew addict, but gave it up about a year ago. And really don't miss it all that much.

    Growing up, I called it pop. Somewhere along the lines, though, I started calling is soda.

    I like Coke Zero, Dr. Pepper (the real shiz), Sprite when I'm sick, and an A&W Rootbeer for floats!!!! Oh, and Moutain Dew out of a fountain at 7-11 on a hot summer day = love.


    I've had huckleberry soda -- oh man, that stuff is good.

    Oh, and I call it soda.

    The first time someone asked me if I wanted a "pop," I thought I was going to have to fight. Definitely soda or the specific name.

    I will never turn down rootbeer, and I drink a diet coke OR a diet pepsi occasionally. Of course any cola with to shots of tequila can talk to me anytime! I used to love sprite, but now find it to be too syrupy and only worthy of being mixed with Bacardi Limon. Most of the time, though, I just drink water.

    OH HELL YES!!! I NEVER drank more soda than the 5 months I spent in Mexico!

    I don't drink it much anymore... but not for MFP-reasons (OMGZkillarBUBBLES!). I love me some Sprecher Ginger Ale though. Fiery good stuff.

    I only drink soda when I have alcohol. So it is usually rum and diet coke.

    My favorite SODA is Diet Dr. Pepper, but there will always be a place in my heart for coke zero. I also love ginger ale for when I'm feelin' a little sick or root beer if I can't have caffeine.

    I don’t know if it’s considered soda, but I do love a good Bawls now and then. Also, Jones makes a delicious root beer for root beer floats. :drinker:

    And omg how did I not know until just now that Bawls also makes a caffeinated root beer?

    Anyone remember Pop Shoppe Pop?

    In the summer at vacation time, we'd go to the Pop Shoppe for a kiddy case and then the government pop shoppe for an adult case.
