i was thinking of home-made guacamole with some gluten-free blue corn & sesame chips, but i made that for the last play-off game. i'm bored with my healthy snack ideas. anyone have some fresh ideas? (trying to be as cheap as possible, and i have no outdoor grill.)

WINGS! You can make them healthier by removing the skin off of the chicken. I like to grill them (you can broil or bake them too) until crisp and cooked through, then coat in buffalo wing sauce. I am a traditionalist, so I coat them in Frank's Red Hot that has been mixed with a little melted butter.
People get into calorie trouble with wings when they order them out (always fried), especially the wings that are breaded. That's fried chicken people, not buffalo wings!0 -

Haha SAME here! I make queso with the velveeta and ro-tel, plus I add in chorizo....there is nothing healthy about any of it, but it's my cheat day and I'll go running earlier in the day to make up for it!0 -
we are having a Taco Bar for the Party:
Ground turkey and shredded chicken both with taco seaoning in seperate crockpots to keep warm
Hard and soft taco shells, may make a few taco bowls too
Toppings: cheese, salsa, lettuce, sour cream
Sides: crockpiot refried beans (not actually fried), mexican rice
appetizers: veggie tray with ranch/yogurt dip, rotel velveeta dip, homemade guacamole with blue corn tortilla chips
dessert: brownies, chocolate covered strawberries, peanut butter bars
Guests are bringing some of the appetizers/desserts so I'll eat light during the day and enjoy the party0 -
