Why is it when I work away from home, my diet goes to pot :( does anyone have any suggestions on how to stay on track when you have no choice on where you eat?

Thanks

Have the same problem. I'm a truck driver and often spend the week away from home. I tend to stock up on as much fruit and veg as I can at the start of the week but. By Thursday some of it is becoming a bit manky.
Motorway services do have healthy options if you don't mind paying about £7 for a few pineapple chunks, but what I try to do is just head to a supermarket and buy food that I can eat raw (can eat where and when you like then) and make up my own salads. A this time of year if you keep food in the car boot it's the same as a fridge, so you can stock up for a day or 2.

Let me know if you come up with any other ideas, it all helps!

That's a really good Idea although i think the boot of my car will be colder than my fridge at the mo lol... I could fill up on raw fruit and veg before being to dragged into a restaurant and eat a light bite and not feel so bad...I will keep my ear to the ground for any other portable food ideas and let you know what I find...
