puppy chow recipe?

I'm planning on making puppy chow for the super bowl sunday. I'm certainly willing to have it as a treat and just not eat alot of it, but wondering if anyone has a suggestion for making it lower calorie or more MFP friendly?
I know there are other names for this snack/dessert too, but i cant think of any at the moment, but what I am refering to is this:

It looks like the recipe on the Chex website isn't as caloric. Damn, AllRecipes. One pound of sugar?! You can’t make that healthy. Just eat it in moderation and enjoy every bite!
