Does anyone else feel like you are on a high after working out? If so, is that normal?

I do, definitely, though it manifests in my experience with being completely hyper and not being able to stop talking. I'm not normally short of a few words, but post-workout I am ultra "high" and it does take me a while to calm down Must be those famous endorphins.0

totally normal and totally awesome in my book:)0

Ok, thanks! I was wondering about that cause after working out I feel high and I was not sure if that was normal or if I was pushing too hard.0
-
Nope, you'll know if you are pushing too hard This is all good!0

I'm actually kind of jealous, because this rarely happens for me. I am usually a rock after a workout, because I feel tired and my limbs just feel like they are made out of concrete when I'm done.
If I felt that good after working out, I'd do it a lot more often!0 -
It happens to me sometimes after a good run, especially on really, really cold days. Some of my best runs have been when it was <5 degrees.0

YES!! Endorphins are wonderful!!0 -
Yes. It is my drug of choice. I get high every day.0

I just posted this to my FB because I have the insane giggles right now from all the endorphins!!0 -
I do feel high after I work out. I could become a real fitness nut (no offense intended to the real fitness nuts, I'm just jealous) if it wasn't for the moderating influence of my kids. If I could work out all day, I totally would! =D0

Yes!!! It's why I exercise! I love the way I feel afterwards!! It is highly addictive.0
-
YES!
After doing indoor cycle I actually have a high for like 30 minutes. So much that I find I skip home and snap my fingers to the beat of the ipod music.
I love that!0 -
Definitely feel this with an intense workout.0
-
Yes, it's what keeps me coming back for more.
Well, that and the additional calories I get to consume.0 -
I get it and it's awesome!0

Only after a long, hard run and I LOVE IT!0
-
nope, i just feel tired..0
-
For sure!!!!! Especially after a good long run! At the end I feel like dancing!!!0

Just finished 40 mins on the stationary bike - doing a pretty good clip. I feel tired but so de-stressed! I haven't worked out for three days because of work and it feels soo good. I love the way it feels - just need to get it as a habit now. can't wait for the weather to warm up - had 10inches of snow today - too chilly to go out for a walk. Dog is sad too!0

Only when I snort coke off the Elliptical.0

Totally normal. Sometimes I feel such a high that I feel like I could workout again! Surely I would probably fall over if I actually tried this...but...it still feels good!0
-
I especially love it when it hits me during the workout. Then I feel invincible, like I can keep going forever.0

^^This. I wish I achieved that feeling after a workout. But I'm just tired, and worn out!0
