    I know exactly how you feel. I have been dieting and exercising for weeks and weeks now, and saw NO change in the scales. I was getting so frustrated I even asked my Doctor if I could go on medication to kick-start my weight loss. Everyone told me the same things they've said to you and I didn't believe any of it and was even considering giving up. Then completely out of the blue, I have dropped 4lb in 5 days! Am so glad to see the scales are finally moving I could cry with relief! You're not alone...persevere with a healthy diet and exercise routine and you will see results! I think it must take your body time to adjust, but once it does, there will be no stopping you :-)
