Before Or After Work Out

I have heard that you should work out in the morning and then have a protien filled breakfast. But, the other day I heard you should have your carbs first, work out and then have protien. What should I do to make my work outs more effective?

    If you are strictly looking at ways of making your workout more effective, I would freely experiment with your nutrient timing. (Try different foods, it's personal preference provided you're still able to hit your end of day nutrient targets).

    Also consider training fasted just to see if it works well for you. It's a perfectly viable option.
