My name is Rachel, I'm 26 and married to my high school sweetheart. I'm currently a size 18 and my goal would be to get down to an 8. I'm new to the site and I'm ready to get serious about weight loss. I've only lost 5.2 pounds in 3 weeks, but hey its a start right?

I think 5.2 lbs. in 3 weeks is pretty good... That's almost 2 pounds per week!!! Keep up the good work!0

thanks
I'm a couch potato, but I've been forcing myself to exercise at least 30 minutes cardio a day. I have a gazelle, that I exercise on in the morning before going to work. Just trying to change my habits, but I've noticed since I started exercising and cutting out the junk food, I am always feeling hungry. Do you know if thats normal?

Howdy! My name is Jenny and I am doing a weight loss challenge at work and I have lost 14 pounds in 2 weeks! Haven't really done anything special. Just portion control, eating lots of salads, drinking LOTS of water and walking. But since this fall I have lost almost 30 pounds. I am starting to feel better and I am going to keep it up! Enjoy your day! :0)0

I hate water, but I've been flavoring it with mio, or crystal light, I also stopped drinking soda and sweet tea, and I have a warm green tea every morning with breakfast, to give me a little caffeine fix, but without all the calories and sugar. I also started eating breakfast, cause I used to skip it. Plus daily exercise, its working so far for me. I'm doing the pound plunge, which is a city wide challenge in my city, after 12 weeks the person who loose the most gets like $200, I think. I don't plan on winning but I am using it to help change my habits and just be healthier.0

Hello! I am new too! It sounds like you are on the right track cutting out those empty calories from sweetened drinks! I quit soda about 2 years ago (still have one as a treat now and then) I didn't lose any weight when I quit drinking it, but I did feel alot better. Pumping all that sugar into me sure put my body in a funk! Good luck on your journey, and best wishes on your challenge!0

I actually feel like I have more energy since I stopped the McDonald's sweet tea, and Dr. Pepper. At 1st drinking flavored green tea gave me the gitters and made all hyper, weird right? It's been 3 weeks since I've had either and I feel way better. I'm going to do a 10 day liquid detox, with my husband starting tomorrow. I get from every-one that not eating is bad, but its just temporary, so what the heck, it was my mans idea0
