**LOOKING FOR HELP, SUGGESTIONS AND IDEAS**
 Hey!
So I am a full-time student and I work roughly 32 hours a week doing a graveyard shift at a gas station and I always feel bad for not exercising during the days I work. Shifts are generally really slow, but as far as lifting, preparing food and cleaning go, there isn't much to do so I often find myself sitting around with a lot of free time on my hands. I cannot leave the premises to take a walk either since I am the only one on duty for the 9-hour shifts. With classes I workout 4 times a week, but is there a way I can exercise while working? And are there some low calorie snacks I can bring with me so I don't resort to eating gas station snacks? I try to bring in meals but often find myself hungry and craving chocolate especially. I am not a picky eater in any sense and would really appreciate any food ideas, tips, or suggestions!

I worked in Fast Food for several years while in High school and during my first few years of Community college. It really depends on where you work and menus have gotten better since I worked at McDonalds and Wendys but I mainly stuck to eating side salads, fruit, yogurt and grilled chicken when working. The ice cream at McDonalds is probably one of the healthier ice cream treats I've seen in regards to fast food though if you're craving something sweet. But being around fast food makes it hard to resist.0

put on some tunes and do step aerobic movements with your arms and feet. i did the same thing when i was going to school when i made a career change. even though business was slow at night, a lot of people complimented me on my ingenuity when they saw me "dancing". go for it
as for food; i always packed my lunch usually a healthy sandwich. since there were microwaves, i occasionally would bring a healthy frozen entree in a pinch0 -

So do I! I usually bring my own food. And if I happen to forget to take my food with me (happens a lot...), I eat salads. Or Pasta. One pasta has like 1200 kcal but I split it for lunch and dinner so it's okay. Or modify your burger if you can, leave out the mayo and the cheese.. That's what I do if there's no time to have a salad.
Then again, the worst for me are all the sweet stuff that we have, it's so tempting and cheap and.... :S0 -
Thanks! Definently will. I listen to music at work but I will try doing step aerobic exercises in addition to listening (I've never really done step aerobics so perhaps its time for some research!)0
